Inclusion Manager - Mr D Cherry
(Known as E&E to our students). This was set up in September 2012 to offer a new and exciting alternative Key Stage 4 curriculum for students at The Dearne ALC who are not engaging with main stream education. This disengagement may be due to a number of different reasons.
Students access E&E either part time or full time for their studies, with a view to building on successes and returning to mainstream school.
Students access the full curriculum to allow them to maximise their life chances, this includes all children completing a minimum of 8 qualifications and fulfilling all requirements for Progress 8. Sessions are delivered by both specialist staff and the two full time members of staff based in the E&E suite.
